QK3105 - ISO Grade K01-K10 - The type of carbide grade and the coating on inserts is originally intended for turning cast iron, but it also performs when turning other alloys.

• Tips and Tricks:
  
  • For rough turning it is recommended  to use inserts with bigger nose radius (like R0.8 - R1.2), so wear, force and heat is distributed over larger surface - which makes inserts more durable.
    
  • For finishing it is recommended to use inserts with smaller nose radius (like R0.8 - R0.4), with that we reduce preasure on insert, increase cutting abilities, reduce vibration and we make better finishing surfaces.
